Description

  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer technical requirements and deliver tailored, code-level product demonstrations.
  • Design and execute custom API integrations and proof-of-concept environments based on each client's tech stack and use cases.
  • Respond to technical questions during the sales process, covering API architecture, authentication, webhooks, and data flows.
  • Build and maintain sandbox environments, sample code, and Postman collections to speed up prospect evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share field feedback on API design and developer experience and influence roadmap decisions.
  • Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI responses and technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration guides, and security questionnaires.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues in real time during technical evaluations across API calls, webhooks, and payment flows.
  • Communicate complex payment orchestration concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify patterns in prospect objections and surface insights that improve sales motions and product development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical role within payments or fintech.
  • Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and API testing tools such as Postman and cURL.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript to build sample integrations and debug code.
  • Understanding of payment industry protocols and security standards, including PCI DSS, tokenization, 3DS, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with SQL and reading logs or traces to troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Track record of delivering successful technical product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in payments or fintech is required or strongly preferred.
  • Remote, LATAM-based, full-time, individual contributor role.
