Description

  • Develop a standardized observability platform using structured events, distributed tracing, and intelligent sampling.
  • Enable product engineering teams to own service reliability through platform standards, error budgets, and alerting.
  • Build early-warning and anomaly-detection capabilities to identify issues before they affect customers.
  • Create automation and internal tooling to streamline SRE workflows and routine operations.
  • Manage production incidents through on-call participation, clear communication, rapid resolution, and post-incident analysis.
  • Continuously improve the resilience and scalability of XTB’s technology stack.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in SRE, infrastructure, or DevOps roles supporting high-scale distributed environments.
  • Advanced Python programming skills for scalable automation, internal tools, and scripts.
  • Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with Ansible, Azure Kubernetes Service, on-premises infrastructure, and resilient infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency with self-hosted observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Tempo, Thanos, and Jaeger.
  • Ability to lead incident management, conduct post-incident analysis, and promote shared reliability ownership.
  • Experience with commercial APM platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic and chaos engineering tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps principles (preferred).
  • Experience defining SLIs/SLOs, tracking SRE metrics, and managing error budgets (preferred).
  • Experience applying AI/ML to SRE, including AIOps, anomaly detection, log analysis, or reliability workflow optimization (preferred).
