Description

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems and APIs across AWS and GCP.
  • Define and operationalize SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets with application teams.
  • Build end-to-end observability for microservices and cloud infrastructure using Datadog and actionable Golden Signals monitoring.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and blameless post-incident reviews.
  • Operate production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters through GitOps workflows using Argo CD and Kargo.
  • Provision and secure multi-cloud infrastructure with modular Terraform configurations.
  • Develop disaster-recovery dashboards, runbooks, multi-region failover automation, and validation tests aligned to RTO and RPO targets.
  • Create Python or Go automation tools to reduce operational toil.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate scripting, runbook generation, and incident triage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering supporting 24/7 mission-critical systems.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go for SRE tooling, automation, and cloud integrations.
  • Production experience operating Kubernetes, container orchestration, and GitOps pipelines such as Argo CD.
  • Experience writing, maintaining, and modularizing Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations.
  • Experience operating AWS workloads, including EKS, IAM, VPC networking, Route53, and ALB/NLB, or GCP workloads.
  • Experience with cloud cost allocation, resource right-sizing, and FinOps dashboards.
  • Experience building disaster-recovery dashboards, conducting failover drills, and monitoring recovery metrics.
  • Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools, PagerDuty, alerting hygiene, and SLI/SLO frameworks.
  • Experience troubleshooting service meshes such as Istio and highly available proxies such as HAProxy or NGINX.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; must be authorized to work and located in the country specified for the role, and able to participate in on-call shifts.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines, chaos engineering, secrets-management tools, or DevSecOps/IaC security scanning is preferred.
