Description

  • Design, build, release, and operate backend services and REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Own architecture decisions, service boundaries, integration contracts, and data ownership.
  • Design data models and storage, and optimize schemas and queries.
  • Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows.
  • Maintain reliability, security, observability, performance, and cost efficiency for critical flows.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems.
  • Improve CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and development environments.
  • Review code and configure AI coding tools for repository development and review.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial backend development experience.
  • Strong Go experience, including concurrency, cancellation, memory, and performance profiling with pprof.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, indexes, query plans, transactions, isolation levels, and migrations.
  • Experience with Redis caching and distributed-systems concepts such as consistency, availability, idempotency, retries, and failure handling.
  • Experience designing REST and gRPC APIs, including versioning, compatibility, and OpenAPI/Swagger or Protobuf documentation.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS and event-driven messaging patterns.
  • Understanding of application security, OWASP risks, secrets management, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, testing, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English; Web3, high-load, cloud, NoSQL, and gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or payments experience preferred.
