Description

  • Support Treasury projects in areas such as secured lending and ALCO tasks.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring and liquidity management activities.
  • Contribute to financial reporting and treasury operations work.
  • Help align Treasury policies with internal risk appetite, internal policies, and ad-hoc requirements.
  • Build a foundational understanding of risk management across traditional banking and cryptocurrency contexts.
  • Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a bank treasury and strategic financial management.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team on practical capital management challenges.
  • Apply analytical thinking to financial tracking and related treasury tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Maths, or a related field.
  • Some exposure to financial analysis, accounting principles, or corporate finance through study, projects, or internships is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of cash movement in a business, interest rates, or financial markets is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle data entry and financial tracking accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced Treasury and fintech environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team and ask questions when learning new processes.
  • Any exposure to risk management frameworks, budgeting, or simple data visualization is a plus.
  • Must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the 2-month program.
  • Must attend mandatory in-person onboarding sessions on July 6th and 7th.
  • Must have a dedicated workspace and a reliable internet connection.
