Description

  • Own the product vision and strategic roadmap for customer-facing AI/ML models, data products, and analytics features.
  • Engage directly with strategic customers and design partners to understand needs, validate roadmaps, and co-develop new features.
  • Define, measure, and communicate product success using metrics tied to customer value and SaaS business outcomes.
  • Partner with UX, Data Science, and Sales Engineering to create data visualizations and product demos that show product value.
  • Define clear, testable requirements in the form of epics and user stories based on customer feedback, market analysis, and strategic priorities.
  • Write detailed specifications for complex data processes, transformation logic, and aggregation rules.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on launch plans, sales collateral, and communications for new features.
  • Conduct product-related data analysis, validate data assets, and test hypotheses.
  • Translate customer requirements into data engineering needs and assess the feasibility of new ideas.
  • Work with data scientists to define requirements for AI/ML-driven features and ensure the data foundation supports successful delivery.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in product management, data analysis, BI development, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with customers or key stakeholders to gather requirements, validate ideas, and manage feedback loops.
  • Strong ability to connect technical features to customer value, user needs, and business outcomes such as ROI or retention.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills with the ability to build consensus across engineering, sales, and external clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a backlog, make trade-offs, and align teams on priorities.
  • Solid SQL fundamentals, including writing joins and aggregations to explore data and perform analysis.
  • Experience with a modern BI platform such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Sigma.
  • Functional understanding of data transformation techniques such as aggregation, string manipulation, and type casting.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, and Sigma is preferred.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS verticals such as Field Services or Building Services is a plus.
  • Some familiarity with a scripting language like R or Python for data analysis is preferred.
  • Exposure to the AI/ML lifecycle or production machine learning models is preferred.

  • Base salary of $155,000 to $165,000 per year.
