Description

  • Lead KYC product feature design and experience optimization to improve conversion rates and verification accuracy.
  • Build and maintain a KYC metrics framework, collect and analyze usage data, and identify key friction points in the conversion funnel.
  • Track industry and competitor developments, and produce structured analyses of competitor capabilities, differentiators, and market strategies.
  • Research and evaluate emerging KYC technologies such as AI identity recognition and blockchain-based data sharing, and propose feasible pilot or adoption plans.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications and design decisions.
  • Use data to define where users drop off, where the process gets stuck, and where false positives occur, then improve interactions and review policies.
  • Collaborate on balancing business growth with audit precision, automated rules, and regulatory interpretation.
  • Recommend product priorities based on market scanning, technical assessment, and observed user or operational issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with end-to-end KYC workflows, including user form completion, document capture, liveness detection, OCR, automated review, and manual fallback handling.
  • Ability to use data to diagnose funnel issues and product pain points.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk boundaries, with an engineering-minded approach to improving speed and pass rates.
  • Experience evaluating vendor capabilities and industry solutions, and clearly explaining technology trade-offs and selection rationale.
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory requirements into product definitions and specifications.
  • Comfort working with AI identity recognition, OCR, automated review, and fraud/risk rule systems.
  • Capability to assess new KYC technologies, their use cases, risks, and value to existing products.
  • Remote work suitability for an APAC-C1 Research and Development product role.
