Description

  • Manage two offshore finance partners and oversee their day-to-day accounts payable work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor compensation, consumer revenue, and insurance claims.
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and funds adjustment requests.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, control reports, and 1099 preparation.
  • Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation in accordance with GAAP.
  • Support annual audit compliance for contractor and consumer finance activities.
  • Complete month-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and third-party partners.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, consumer finance, contractor finance, or a related financial services role.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, month-end close, and accounts payable processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with comfort working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and/or accounting software such as NetSuite or SAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency working with large data sets and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with insurance claims processes.
  • Familiarity with property management, residential, and commercial environments.
