Description

  • Act as the primary HR advisor for assigned countries, primarily Belgium, and manage complex employment matters across the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide expert guidance on local employment laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and employment-related risks.
  • Resolve HR queries and support key employment events for clients and employees.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving, standardising, and optimising HR processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Product, leadership, and external partners to deliver seamless HR services.
  • Support reporting, audits, HR administration, knowledge management, and strategic projects.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain country-specific processes and compliance.
  • Partner with clients to address people-related challenges and deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Ensure HR operations and employee experiences are customer-centric, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle Management, HR Advisory, or a similar client-facing HR role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Belgian employment law and HR practices.
  • Ability to advise on employee lifecycle matters, compliance requirements, and employment-related risks.
  • Experience balancing customer needs, compliance requirements, and business objectives in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, French, or German, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working in an Employer of Record (EOR), global mobility, payroll, or international HR environment is a plus.
  • Experience supporting multinational clients across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and process improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • Additional European language skills and knowledge of Belgium employment law are a plus.
