Description

  • Lead and collaborate on strategic planning for priority programs and initiatives across WorkMoney entities.
  • Partner with the CEO, Executive Director, Chief of Staff, and executive leadership to advance programmatic and policy priorities.
  • Help design and improve approaches to program development, delivery, evaluation, and strategic learning.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, accountability structures, decision points, and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought partnership to program and policy leaders navigating complexity and growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships across programs, policy, advocacy, communications, and external partnerships.
  • Represent WorkMoney’s programmatic vision and strategic priorities with external stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Support executive leadership in identifying emerging opportunities, risks, and challenges tied to growth, policy engagement, and member impact.
  • Track and communicate program outcomes, member impact metrics, and the health of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively senior experience in program development, public policy, advocacy, strategy, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience partnering with executive leaders, senior stakeholders, and boards on high-priority initiatives across multiple organizational entities.
  • Proven success designing, scaling, and coordinating complex, multi-audience programs, ideally in consumer-facing, advocacy, membership, or financial services environments.
  • Experience engaging in federal, state, or local policy processes and translating strategic goals into actionable programming and organizational priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while driving accountability and achieving organizational goals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to move between program design, policy advocacy, operational execution, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex ideas into clear action.
  • Collaborative working style with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive or high-stakes situations with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in mission-driven, advocacy, social impact, or membership-oriented organizations is preferred.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Role is based in the United States and requires less than 10% travel.
