Description

  • Provide audience lists and segments and ensure data quality through rigorous QA processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from departments for internal and external use.
  • Create new dashboards and maintain existing analytics dashboards to track key metrics, insights, and trends.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and build trusted cross-departmental relationships.
  • Serve as a data resource across departments by helping colleagues use tools and interpret results.
  • Support a data-driven approach to decision making with guidance from the Director of Analytics.
  • Advocate for stronger data integrity, tracking, and maintenance across programmatic and data systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to codify and improve data request and delivery processes for greater efficiency.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL or other query languages through educational, job, or volunteer training.
  • Proven ability to analyze and communicate data in accessible and actionable ways.
  • Prior experience creating clear and insightful dashboards with Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or another visualization platform.
  • Experience working collaboratively on a technical team and with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate data findings into clear, digestible insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building data analytics skills and comfort taking direction from stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • ETL and data cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Experience with advocacy, legislative, or electoral campaign data is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the front-end and back-end of a CRM or voter file is preferred.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization.
  • This is a temporary, full-time, exempt role with an expected duration of approximately six months and less than 10% travel.

  • Starting salary of $85,000 annually, with compensation set by a union Collective Bargaining Agreement and not negotiable.
