Description

  • Serve as a data thought partner to product and business leaders by providing insights and recommendations that support data-driven decisions.
  • Drive day-to-day analytics and build scalable data tools for the Airbnb for RealEstate team.
  • Architect, build, and launch reliable data models and pipelines in partnership with Data Engineering.
  • Design, define, and implement metrics and dimensions to enable analysis.
  • Improve measurement of partner tools with a focus on increasing host activation within partner buildings.
  • Work with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional teams to build a scalable attribution and measurement platform.
  • Collaborate with Business Leads to design, implement, and assess offline experiments, including A/B tests and quasi-experimental techniques.
  • Build high-quality ground truth datasets and dashboards to help the team answer data questions quickly.
  • Contribute to analytics and data science best practices, including data tools, data sets, education, and mentoring other team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or Operations Research.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-cultural, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to conduct rigorous statistical analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience partnering with internal teams to drive action through analytics, experimental design, and measurement.
  • Experience designing and building metrics from conception through prototypes and data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and distributed system optimization tools such as Spark, Presto, or Hive.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language for data analysis such as Python or R.
  • Experience with Tableau strongly preferred.
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity if working remotely in the US.

Benefits

  • US-remote eligible role with occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsites, as agreed with your manager.
  • Base pay range of $136,000 to $160,000 USD.
  • May be eligible for bonus.
  • May be eligible for equity.
  • May be eligible for benefits.
  • May be eligible for Employee Travel Credits.
