Description

  • Manage daily posting across California WFP social media platforms.
  • Draft, schedule, and coordinate social media content with leadership and campaign staff.
  • Monitor platform activity, respond to issues, and maintain consistent branding and messaging.
  • Cover occasional WFP events and activations on the ground.
  • Create graphics for organizing campaigns, endorsements, events, rapid response, and social media.
  • Produce simple motion graphics and short-form videos as needed.
  • Assist with digital communications, email graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain an organized library of digital assets and support communications priorities.
  • Produce rapid-response content and support voter engagement, volunteer recruitment, endorsements, and campaign events during elections.
  • Work occasional evenings or weekends as required by campaign activities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience managing high-visibility organizational social media accounts.
  • Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Ability to produce polished visual content under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced political environment.
  • Experience with political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or nonprofit communications preferred.
  • Basic video editing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and other social media management tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with EveryAction, VAN, or similar organizing tools preferred.
  • Must be currently authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
