Description

  • Build and improve secure workload isolation systems.
  • Design and implement sandboxing mechanisms for user-generated and AI-generated code execution.
  • Work with Linux security primitives including namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, permissions, and access controls.
  • Profile large distributed systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Improve networking performance and traffic management.
  • Design and evolve internal protocols and service communication mechanisms.
  • Contribute to and debug system-level services and infrastructure components.
  • Evaluate and integrate technologies such as gVisor, KVM, container runtimes, and virtualization technologies.
  • Drive technical projects from architecture and requirements gathering through implementation and production rollout.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems.
  • Systems-level programming experience, especially in C, Go, or Rust.
  • Expertise in L2, L3, and/or L4 networking protocols.
  • Good understanding of Linux networking and security.
  • Experience building on top of Linux kernel networking primitives such as netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, and network namespaces.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines, from data structuring to efficient querying to data analysis.
  • Experience working with public cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Understanding of protocol-level behavior, including differences between specifications and real-world Internet behavior.
  • Contributions to open source projects are a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve complex customer problems.
  • Ability to own solutions end-to-end and drive design, development, and deployment.
  • Ability to work across teams and define common, sustainable solutions.
