Description

  • Oversee a team of 4–5 copywriters and manage their day-to-day output.
  • Maintain and drive the editorial calendar to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Edit and refine content for clarity, tone, positioning against competitors, and SEO best practices.
  • Provide actionable, constructive feedback to writers to improve quality and craft over time.
  • Coordinate handoffs to uploaders to ensure polished content goes live smoothly.
  • Author high-difficulty or cornerstone pieces personally (approximately 20% of time).
  • Participate in client discovery and content review calls to gather requirements and align on deliverables.
  • Ensure overall content quality, factual accuracy, and consistency with client positioning and agency standards.

Requirements

  • Professional-level written and spoken English (fluent).
  • 3+ years in an editorial or content management role, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, positioning, and marketing principles.
  • Organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain clean workflows.
  • Sharp attention to detail for tone, marketing quality, and factual accuracy.
  • Collaborative team player who can maintain high standards while supporting writers.
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday, with at least 6 working hours overlapping 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience conducting client interviews (preferred).
