Description

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and manage multiple simultaneous calls professionally.
  • Provide patient support through phone, email, messaging apps, and CRM platforms.
  • Send appointment reminders and follow up on missed appointments and no-shows.
  • Manage provider calendars, appointment scheduling, and rescheduling.
  • Conduct new client intakes and verify, organize, and update patient information.
  • Generate reports in AdvancedMD and create billing summary reports using Excel/MS Office.
  • Support billing turnaround timelines and help maintain efficient scheduling workflows.
  • Reduce administrative workload for the front desk team while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Monitor performance goals such as low missed-call rates and efficient handling of daily intakes and reschedules.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Behavioral Health or Mental Health practice.
  • AdvancedMD proficiency is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills with minimal to no accent.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and high-volume call handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
  • Familiarity with CareSource, Molina, United Healthcare, Anthem, and Aetna is preferred.
  • Experience with the Ohio Medicaid portal is preferred.
  • Experience using Availity and knowledge of insurance verification are preferred.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet of at least 10 Mbps, noise-canceling headset, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace are required.
