Description

  • Clear billing queues in AdvancedMD and manage billing follow-ups.
  • Process claims through the Availity RCM system.
  • Perform accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding for behavioral health claims.
  • Submit claims within strict 24–36 hour turnaround deadlines.
  • Monitor, reduce, and resolve claim denials.
  • Run billing and financial reports using AdvancedMD and Excel.
  • Perform insurance verification through AdvancedMD and Ohio Medicaid Provider Network Management tools.
  • Handle general back-office administrative tasks.
  • Support communication across email, phone, messaging apps, CRM systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Assist with front-office and administrative workflows as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in behavioral health or mental health billing.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
  • Proficiency in AdvancedMD.
  • Experience using Availity.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, preferred.
  • Flexible with evening schedules, preferred.
  • Must speak and write English very clearly.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • High-speed internet connection with minimum 10 Mbps.
  • Noise-canceling headset.
  • Webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Quiet, professional workspace.
