Description

  • Answer incoming patient calls and respond to inquiries professionally and compassionately.
  • Educate prospective patients about available services and treatment options.
  • Schedule new patient consultations and follow-up appointments, and send appointment reminders.
  • Complete new patient onboarding, intake processes, and profile setup in SimplePractice.
  • Perform insurance pre-qualification and eligibility checks.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, forms, documentation, and administrative workflows.
  • Support communication between patients and providers.
  • Update the practice’s Psychology Today profile and assist with website content updates.
  • Support Google Ads campaigns and other basic marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with practice growth projects, outreach activities, and patient acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience with SimplePractice.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychology, or mental health practice preferred.
  • Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with patient intake, insurance verification, and scheduling.
  • Basic website editing experience.
  • Exposure to Google Ads or digital marketing support.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to speak and write English very clearly.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps.
  • Noise-canceling headset and webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Quiet, professional workspace.
