Description

  • Answer inbound patient calls promptly and professionally, handling questions, requests, intake, follow-ups, and general coordination.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments while keeping EMR appointment details accurate.
  • Provide warm, clear bilingual communication to support patient satisfaction and a high call-answering rate.
  • Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks when needed.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient and insurance documentation.
  • Coordinate with team members on patient concerns, insurance updates, and scheduling issues.
  • Manage email communication, front desk coordination, and daily administrative tasks.
  • Follow structured workflows while adapting to client needs when necessary.
  • Identify workflow gaps or issues and proactively communicate improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Must communicate professionally and clearly in English, both spoken and written.
  • Healthcare administration experience is required.
  • EMR experience is required.
  • Medical scheduling experience is required; Cerbo scheduling experience is a plus.
  • Must be professional, warm, patient-focused, organized, self-directed, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Must have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to manage patient requests efficiently and maintain excellent service.
  • Must have reliable internet with no frequent outages and a stable high-speed connection of at least 25 Mbps.
  • Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer, noise-canceling headset, and working webcam, and a quiet professional workspace.
  • Must be available during scheduled work hours and able to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
  • Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
