Description

  • Answer incoming calls and manage high-volume inbound and outbound phone communication.
  • Handle patient inquiries and correspondence professionally in English and Spanish.
  • Schedule, coordinate, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Send appointment reminders and help reduce missed calls and no-shows.
  • Perform dental insurance verification and basic claims processing.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules to optimize provider availability.
  • Provide basic front-desk administrative support for daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation in practice systems.
  • Support patients from first contact through confirmed appointment with courteous communication.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is non-negotiable, including clear speaking and writing skills.
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or Medical/Healthcare Receptionist is required.
  • Strong, confident phone presence and comfort with patient-facing communication.
  • Willingness to learn and use Eaglesoft; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus.
  • Experience with VoIP systems, such as Verizon VoIP or similar, is helpful.
  • Prior dental office experience is preferred.
  • Experience with dental insurance verification and claims processing is preferred.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet of at least 10 Mbps, noise-canceling headset, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace are required.
