Description

  • Record patient medical history, symptoms, previous diagnoses, and other relevant health background.
  • Document physician or healthcare provider findings, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments.
  • Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation for patient orders such as laboratory tests and medications.
  • Create and maintain accurate EHR/EMR records.
  • Facilitate coordination between healthcare providers, patients, and other professionals.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a medical field or pharmaceutical-related industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Documentation specialist, or in a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, at least B2 level.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and practices.
  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP tools.
  • Willing and able to work graveyard shift.
  • Main and backup computer with at least a 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM, plus a USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, and wired internet of at least 25 Mbps with 10 Mbps backup.
