Description

  • Build and nurture relationships with the developer community through forums, social media, webinars, and meetups.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external developers and collect feedback for internal product teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation, tutorials, sample code, and SDKs for developers using Canvas Medical’s API.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve API usability based on developer feedback.
  • Write blog posts, produce videos, and deliver presentations about best practices, new features, and real-world use cases.
  • Develop technical content for hackathons, developer conferences, and community events.
  • Provide direct support to developers by troubleshooting issues and helping optimize integrations.
  • Conduct workshops, office hours, and training sessions to onboard developers to the Canvas Medical platform.
  • Represent Canvas Medical at conferences, trade shows, and industry events as a technical advocate.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with FHIR standards is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, EMR systems, and developer challenges in health tech is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of engaging with developer communities or contributing to open-source projects.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with a collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset.
