Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry events aligned with target customers and revenue goals.
  • Own and maintain a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking opportunities, and vendor contracts to maximize budget efficiency.
  • Plan and execute events end to end, including booth design, shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, and travel logistics.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact at every event, including setup, teardown, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Brief attending team members on event goals, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Partner with sales to book pre-show meetings, run on-site dinners and customer events, and drive lead capture and follow-up.
  • Work with marketing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social media.
  • Manage the event budget, track spend, forecast costs, and flag risks early.
  • Define event KPIs and produce post-event reports on leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI, and performance learnings.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally in B2B or tech.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing events end to end, even at smaller scale.
  • Experience managing an events budget, including forecasting, spend tracking, and ROI-focused trade-offs.
  • Ability to define KPIs and build reports that connect event activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong, practical use of AI in events marketing is required, with examples of workflows or projects that improved research, outreach, reporting, content drafting, or lead enrichment.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is sufficient on the CRM side.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, vendors, budgets, and multiple moving parts.
  • Comfort negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 50% during peak seasons across North America, with potential European travel as the company expands.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada and live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Experience with event tools such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast is preferred.
  • Experience working with international events or vendors is preferred.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or a similar fast-paced tech environment is preferred.
