Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry events aligned with ICP and revenue goals.
  • Own and manage a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking slots, and vendor or venue contracts.
  • Plan and execute events end to end, including booth design, shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, AV, catering, hotel blocks, and team travel logistics.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact, including booth setup, teardown, troubleshooting, and live event support.
  • Brief internal team members on event objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Partner with sales to book pre-show meetings, run on-site dinners and customer events, and ensure leads are captured, qualified, and followed up quickly.
  • Collaborate with marketing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social.
  • Manage event budgets, track spend, forecast costs, flag risks, and make trade-off decisions.
  • Define event KPIs and produce post-event reports on leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI, and improvements for future events.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally in B2B or tech.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing events end to end, including smaller-scale shows.
  • Experience managing an events budget and forecasting spend.
  • Ability to define KPIs and build reports that connect event activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience using AI to improve event marketing workflows; this is required, not optional.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is sufficient on the CRM side.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and multiple moving parts.
  • Comfort negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential European travel as the company expands.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada and live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Nice to have experience with event tools such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast.
  • Nice to have experience with international events or vendors.
  • Nice to have a background in B2B SaaS or a similar fast-paced tech environment.
