Description

  • Align with global stakeholders to build a multi-year retailer pipeline for the NA region across industries by analyzing retail market trends and conducting in-depth retailer diligence.
  • Proactively conduct retailer outreach, create proposals, lead negotiations, and develop retailer onboarding plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Legal to execute contracts, develop SOPs to address unauthorized resellers, and establish country-level wholesale policies.
  • Manage and optimize existing retailer relationships, including hosting quarterly business reviews and maintaining ongoing weekly touchpoints to review performance, assortment, and marketing levers.
  • Own commercial strategy for retailers, including assortment, forecasts, sales reporting, inventory management, and POS in collaboration with Marketing, Apparel & Accessories, Finance, and Operations.
  • Align to quarterly sales targets and broader company OKRs, reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate strategy with brand country managers and trade marketing counterparts to grow the WHOOP membership base within each country.
  • Own internal communications regarding pipeline status, retailer launches, and bottlenecks impacting progress.
  • Support retailer launches and expansion execution, including cross-functional coordination and escalation management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales and market expansion, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • Must currently reside in the United States (US-based role).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (especially Spanish) are a bonus and should be referenced in the application.
  • Industry experience in consumer electronics or sports technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience collaborating across operations, trade compliance, and marketing functions.
  • Data-driven, operational, and commercial mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable being an individual contributor from Day 1, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fitness, health, and technology, and willingness to travel to retailers, trade shows, and WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA up to ~50%.

Benefits

  • U.S. base salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 (full-time role).
  • Generous equity package as part of total compensation to align employees with long-term company growth.
