Description

  • Translate and copy edit content across investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI materials.
  • Collaborate on multiple accounts and programs as part of a freelance language expert team.
  • Apply cultural and linguistic expertise to ensure high-quality Sesotho target-language content.
  • Work with CAT tools and localization platforms to complete assigned language tasks.
  • Use MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, as part of the workflow.
  • Support translation, localization, interpretation, and QA testing activities as needed.
  • Review and adapt content for clarity, accuracy, and audience suitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating or copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals.
  • Professional-level understanding of English (US/GB).
  • Native-level expertise in Sesotho as the target language with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Experience using CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Translation degree preferred, or 3 years of translation experience if holding another degree, or 5 years of translation experience if no degree.
  • Experience with marketing, help, and UI content is required or strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely as a freelance resource on multiple accounts and programs.
