Description

  • Translate and copy edit content in investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI materials.
  • Support translation, localization, interpretation, and QA testing activities for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with the team on multiple accounts and programs.
  • Deliver content in Oromo while maintaining cultural nuance and target-language accuracy.
  • Work with CAT tools and related workflow systems to complete assigned linguistic tasks.
  • Use MS Word and MS Excel to support translation and project work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in translating or copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals.
  • Professional-level understanding of English (US/GB).
  • Native-level expertise in Oromo as the target language with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Experience using CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Translation degree, or 3 years of translation experience with another degree, or 5 years of translation experience without a degree.
  • Ability to work as a freelance language expert on multiple accounts and programs.
  • Experience in marketing content and life sciences content is required or highly preferred.
