Description

Translate and post-edit gaming-related content with precision and creativity.
Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect Dutch gaming culture, trends, and idiomatic usage.
Collaborate with the assessment team to complete linguistic and creative testing tasks.
Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across UI, banners, promotional assets, and in-game text.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve content relevance and user engagement.
Work on translation, transcreation, and copy editing tasks for gaming content.
Use client tools to complete assigned localization work.
Support daily and weekly workload expectations of approximately 2–5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Requirements

Excellent command of Dutch (Netherlands) and deep cultural fluency.
Experience in gaming, apps, or creative localization.
Strong familiarity with gaming terminology, trends, genres, and cultural context.
Comfortable using CAT tools and adapting content to multiple platforms.
Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism.
Creative writing background preferred.
Published work on gaming platforms such as IGN, Polygon, Kotaku, Eurogamer, or similar is a plus.
Experience working with gaming or app-related services is preferred.
Ability to complete a translation plus gaming/creative assessment task.
Availability for daily or weekly work is preferred.
