Description

Create subtitle files through conforming, timing and spotting, translating, and proofreading/QC as assigned.
Use Pixelogic’s proprietary cloud-based subtitling software to complete subtitle work.
Apply in-house glossary tools to maintain consistency across products.
Follow client style guide specifications for multiple content types.
Handle file rejections and make necessary corrections.
Stay current with industry trends and adapt to changing client requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive content.
Work collaboratively as part of a team managing changing priorities and workloads.

Requirements

Japanese/English bilingual ability.
Minimum of 2 years of translation and/or proofreading experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work to a rigorous schedule with on-time delivery.
Flexibility to work hours aligned to sensitive delivery schedules.
Ability to follow technical and style guide requirements for multiple client content types.
Highly motivated with a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
