Description

  • Translate and proofread content from English (en-US) into Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR).
  • Perform copy-editing and quality check tasks on localized content.
  • Localize marketing, product/service, informational, and support materials.
  • Maintain brand voice, marketing tone, and customer-facing clarity across translations.
  • Ensure terminological consistency and linguistic accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Deliver high-quality work while meeting weekly deadlines and volume expectations.
  • Collaborate with production and localization teams in a remote environment.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions to improve translation quality.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese with excellent command of US English.
  • Proven experience translating content from English (en-US) to Portuguese (pt-BR).
  • 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
  • Demonstrated experience translating informational, marketing, product, and support content.
  • Experience using CAT tools, including a client-specific CAT tool.
  • Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer-facing communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible, reliable, and responsive in a fast-paced localization environment.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions.
