Description

  • Provide real-time captioning for live events, presentations, and broadcasts.
  • Support live production workflows for media and entertainment content.
  • Travel within the United States as needed for specific live events or on-site productions.
  • Adapt to schedules outside normal business hours to meet live broadcast demands.
  • Apply captioning guidelines for placement, formatting, and accessibility standards.
  • Use professional captioning software and equipment to deliver accurate live captions.
  • Work independently and collaborate with production teams to support captioning projects.
  • Maintain accuracy and focus under tight, real-time deadlines.
  • Contribute to subtitling workflows that may include WebVTT and SRT caption formats.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Native-level proficiency in English (US).
  • Proven experience in live captioning with detailed CV evidence in English.
  • Prior experience in live broadcasting, media production, or a real-time subtitling unit.
  • Proficiency with professional captioning software and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of captioning guidelines, including placement, formatting, and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with captioning formats such as WebVTT and SRT.
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy and focus under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the country and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before the recruitment process begins.
