Description

  • Design and maintain regression test plans and test cases for web, admin, API, and mobile app workflows.
  • Execute manual functional, regression, usability, and cross-browser/cross-device testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Test customer-facing pages, admin panel features, API endpoints, and payment/subscription flows before and after release.
  • Verify hotfixes and new builds on live and test environments, including mobile releases through TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing.
  • Triage and respond to issues reported through support channels, JIRA, email, and GitLab tickets.
  • Use Postman, MySQL, LambdaTest, Firebase, Crashlytics, GA4, and MS Clarity to validate issues and monitor stability.
  • Perform basic security testing using the OWASP toolset when required.
  • Maintain representative test data and keep test plans, templates, and troubleshooting documents up to date.
  • Participate in code review, estimation, and planning meetings to support test coverage and release readiness.
  • Prepare reports, demo app updates to stakeholders, and submit daily status updates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience is listed for the role, with at least 3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience.
  • Experience testing web applications, admin panels, APIs, and mobile apps on both iOS and Android.
  • Proven ability to design, document, and maintain regression test plans and test cases from scratch.
  • Proficiency with Postman and/or Swagger for API testing and validation.
  • Working knowledge of MySQL 8 and the ability to write queries for data verification, bug investigation, and test data preparation.
  • Experience with LambdaTest or a similar cloud device lab, plus Apple TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing.
  • Familiarity with GA4, Firebase, Crashlytics, and MS Clarity for analytics and app stability monitoring.
  • Experience with GitLab or similar tools, JIRA, and structured issue reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of OWASP tools for web application security testing.
  • Methodical cross-browser and cross-device testing approach.
  • Comfort using AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to improve QA productivity.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new AI tools and lightweight automation frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Must have a dedicated personal workstation, USB noise-cancelling headset, stable wired internet with at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, and a backup internet connection.
