Description

  • Lead the full stack development of the trading terminal, including architecture decisions, tech stack choices, code quality standards, and shipping cadence.
  • Build the real-time trading UI in React/Next.js, including market discovery, analysis dashboards, live charts, order entry, position tracking, and automation tools.
  • Design and implement backend APIs in Node.js or Python for market data aggregation, trade execution routing, portfolio and P&L tracking, and user management.
  • Implement WebSocket infrastructure to stream live odds, order book depth, in-play probability updates, and position mark-to-market with sub-second latency.
  • Integrate prediction market and sportsbook APIs to normalize market data and support trade execution across platforms.
  • Build the on-chain transaction layer, including wallet integration, CLOB order signing, USDC settlement, and transaction status tracking on Polygon.
  • Develop the automation engine frontend for configuring automated trading strategies and multi-leg hedging rules.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, monitoring/observability, and deployment workflows using modern cloud tooling.
  • Own performance optimization for data-dense interfaces, WebSocket connections, API response times, bundle size, and caching strategies.
  • Hire, mentor, and onboard junior and mid-level engineers while establishing code review and engineering documentation practices.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full stack engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role owning product delivery end-to-end.
  • Expert-level React experience, with Next.js preferred, including complex state management, real-time data rendering, WebSocket integration, and performance optimization.
  • Strong backend experience in Node.js or Python, including RESTful API design, authentication, rate limiting, and horizontal scaling.
  • Production experience with WebSockets or SSE for real-time streaming applications such as trading platforms, dashboards, or live feeds.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP, Docker, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and monitoring tools like Sentry, Datadog, or Grafana.
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility for translating complex data into clean, dense, trader-friendly interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, code review culture, and agile or sprint-based delivery.
  • Clear and structured communication in English, with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Web3 or blockchain integration, crypto trading platforms, or fintech products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with charting and data visualization libraries such as TradingView Lightweight Charts, D3, or Recharts is preferred.
