Description

  • Contribute to the full recruiting life cycle, including sourcing candidates and executing an equitable, inclusive, and accessible hiring process.
  • Build and maintain strong hiring manager partnerships to define role needs, advise on leveling, and support hiring decisions.
  • Perform recruiting analyses and talent assessments to optimize search strategy and hiring productivity.
  • Manage candidate relationships and provide a strong candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Extend, negotiate, and close offers, including advising on offer close strategy.
  • Work directly with senior engineering leadership on hiring needs and decisions.
  • Own and improve the hiring process as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including experience with international companies.
  • Familiarity with software engineering hiring profiles.
  • Aptitude for technical terminology and concepts.
  • Proven success closing candidates.
  • Experience working directly with senior engineering leadership.
  • Experience owning and improving hiring processes.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced hiring environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience recruiting machine learning engineers.
  • Preferred: passion for robotics, autonomy, and machine learning.
  • Preferred: experience hiring engineers at top-tier global companies.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including with international companies.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of £125,000–£131,000 GBP.
  • Eligibility for Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program.
  • Eligibility for Waymo’s equity incentive plan.
  • Access to a generous company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Remote work may be available depending on location.
