Description

  • Partner with customers and channel partners to understand technical needs and design cloud storage solutions.
  • Serve as a technical resource during the sales process, including solution design, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer workshops.
  • Help customers integrate Wasabi with public cloud platforms, applications, backup solutions, and other technologies using S3 and related APIs.
  • Troubleshoot storage, networking, security, and integration issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Create technical documentation, best practices, and repeatable solutions for customers and partners.
  • Stay current on cloud storage technologies and industry trends.
  • Bring customer feedback back to internal teams to help improve the product and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams on customer solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Support Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with object storage technologies such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
  • Strong understanding of S3 APIs, cloud storage permissions and policies, and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and partners and explaining complex topics clearly.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with Linux, scripting or programming fundamentals, backup or data protection technologies, enterprise environments, mission critical 24x7 systems, or channel partners is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $140,000–$170,000.
  • Bonus or variable compensation may be available, depending on role eligibility.
