Description

  • Design and implement Amazon Connect contact flows, routing logic, IVR, and voice and digital channel solutions.
  • Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Implement repeatable CI/CD-driven deployments across environments using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Support Amazon Connect rollouts from pilot deployments to more than 80 countries and 40 languages.
  • Configure workforce management capabilities, including forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, and reporting integrations.
  • Collaborate with client engineers, business stakeholders, programme managers, AWS specialists, and enterprise architects.
  • Provide technical input during sprint ceremonies, architecture decisions, design workshops, and solution reviews.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, deployment guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and support production delivery within assigned workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development or cloud engineering experience.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering multiple enterprise Amazon Connect implementations, including design, integrations, routing, telephony, and production support.
  • Production experience with Python or Node.js.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Hands-on REST API development and integration of contact centre platforms with CRM or backend systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams and complex enterprise environments.
  • Permanent right to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
  • Preferred experience includes Contact Lens, Lex, telephony and number porting, WFM solutions, multi-country deployments, AWS Professional Services, Pega CRM, Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, or regulated industries; AWS Solutions Architect certification is also preferred.
