Description

  • Own team deliverables and objectives for the Global Licensing Systems team.
  • Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers.
  • Hire, build, and manage the engineering team, including performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to support successful project management.
  • Build, drive, and uplift a dynamic and highly effective engineering team.
  • Own the creation and delivery of innovative products.
  • Participate in hands-on technical work, including coding, code reviews, and architectural design and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 6-10+ software engineers.
  • Hands-on leadership experience writing code and conducting code reviews.
  • Experience contributing to architectural design and technical strategy.
  • Proven track record of effective hiring and team building.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Empathetic leadership style with the ability to build strong teams.
  • Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS is a plus, but not required.
