Description

  • Lead and grow the visualization engineering team across office and remote environments.
  • Ensure the Data Products roadmap includes timely investments in visualization capabilities.
  • Establish cross-team web development standards and best practices.
  • Own collaboration across teams and ensure effective, timely delivery.
  • Architect and scale a frontend ecosystem using React, TypeScript, and Vue.
  • Collaborate with ML, frontend, UX, data services, data mining, and data annotation teams.
  • Build mission-critical UI systems for internal customers.
  • Design experiences for complex, data-heavy workflows.
  • Drive performance, scalability, maintainability, and rapid product iteration.
  • Mentor engineers and support technical design and documentation practices.

Requirements

  • Experience leading engineering teams in hybrid or remote environments.
  • Proven ability to scope, break down, and track software development projects.
  • Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
  • Proficiency with Vue.
  • Strong product sense and focus on UX and usability.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives with limited oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal, mentoring, delegation, organizational, and learning skills.
  • Established technical design and documentation experience.
  • Ability to work directly with customers to identify needs and deliver solutions.
  • Preferred: project management expertise, exposure to Node or Python backend systems, and experience in game development or 3D visualization.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $176,000–$242,000 USD.
