Description

  • Build and scale core infrastructure and user interfaces that support labels’ release lifecycle, payments, and content creation.
  • Own the product lifecycle from understanding customer needs through requirements definition, coding, testing, and production support.
  • Develop backends and frontends for existing and greenfield systems using Python and TypeScript with React.
  • Provision cloud infrastructure on AWS using Pulumi and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub.
  • Work on horizontally scalable delivery pipelines, music release management tools, and AI-enabled products for quality control, customer support, and content generation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver impactful solutions for artists and internal customers.
  • Support and improve production systems after release.
  • Help elevate the team by contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with distributed systems, preferably in a product or platform environment.
  • Experience integrating LLMs into products is preferred.
  • Experience working with complex relational databases.
  • Proficiency with Python and TypeScript/React for full-stack development.
  • Experience provisioning infrastructure on AWS.
  • Experience with Pulumi or another infrastructure-as-code tool.
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly in GitHub.
  • Strong bias for action and the ability to unblock yourself and teammates efficiently.
  • A passion for learning, improvement, and mission-driven work supporting artists and internal teams.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000 - $135,000 CAD.
  • Eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus.
