Description

  • Define and refine ideal customer profiles and buyer/persona segments across enterprise, government, and partner audiences.
  • Own product positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate VulnCheck in the market.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for new product and feature launches.
  • Partner with Product to turn technical capabilities into market-ready narratives and launch assets.
  • Equip sales teams with enablement tools, training, battlecards, and field content.
  • Partner with customers and the community to develop proof points, success stories, and industry presence.
  • Own analyst relations, including briefings, inquiries, and coverage management.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning and strategy.
  • Build the product marketing function from the ground up and hire the first team member as the function scales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B cybersecurity technology.
  • Experience in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, attack surface management/CTEM, or EDR/XDR.
  • Prior people leadership experience or readiness to hire and manage within the first year.
  • Technical fluency in cybersecurity and comfort discussing vulnerability data and exploit intelligence with technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ownership of ICP/persona development and core positioning and messaging.
  • Experience positioning products for enterprise, government/public sector, and technical partner audiences.
  • Experience leading product launches end-to-end with Product and Sales.
  • Strong ability to write messaging for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Data-as-a-product or OEM-style positioning experience is a strong plus.
