Description

  • Coordinate project schedules to meet budget and deadline requirements for subcontractors and installation teams.
  • Work closely with sales and design personnel on project specifications, manpower needs, and change orders.
  • Review construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and general contractors to gather required project information.
  • Obtain project schedules and communicate key deadlines to the VSC team, including design start, listing, and POJ dates.
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on ASIs, RFIs, change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor budgets and project documentation to support profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations, including fire, NFPA, building, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce safety policies and risk management procedures on all job sites.
  • Work with estimators and designers to gather information needed for sprinkler system drawings, hydraulic calculations, seismic brace calculations, and material schedules.
  • Submit stock lists, approve fabrication quotes, order materials, and coordinate installation and delivery dates with superintendents.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience in sprinkler or integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of company, local, state, and federal regulations, including fire, NFPA, building, and safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to pass various background checks.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record for use of a company vehicle.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD or SprinkCAD is desirable but not required.
