Description

  • Provide guidance and oversight to multiple engineering teams developing SIGINT software technology products.
  • Conceive and create technical software system architectures and oversee their development.
  • Contribute to program activities including trade studies, system and software design, and risk management and mitigation plans.
  • Support product marketing and business development through customer meetings, whitepapers, briefings, and other new business capture activities.
  • Support proposal generation, including technical solution, cost, and management inputs.
  • Assist the ISR CTO with product strategy, IRAD planning, and technical direction for the ISR organization.
  • Assist project engineers with developing plans and executing schedules to closure.
  • Work closely with program management, lead engineers, and executive management to resolve technically challenging ISR software development issues.
  • Lead technical design activities and ensure technical hurdles are resolved to deliver a high-quality ISR software product roadmap.
  • Mentor engineering teams, build customer trust, and assist with engineering recruiting and talent growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
  • 20+ years of experience in SIGINT-related engineering for DoD programs.
  • Extensive working knowledge and practical experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, fielding, and sustaining Airborne COMINT and ELINT systems from apertures through ground processing components.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Current SCI clearance is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–25% of the time for on-site integration and customer meetings.
  • Experience supporting business development and proposal activities.
  • Experience working directly with executives, customers, program managers, finance, contracts, HR, IT, and security in a technical leadership role.
