Description

  • Participate in the Sales Associate Development program to learn cold calling, lead qualification, and Voltus’s value proposition
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Directors to set sales meetings and support deal progression
  • Prospect for new business through research, prospect lists, and outreach
  • Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls to identify and qualify sales opportunities
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand customer needs
  • Report on account activity and pipeline status to sales leadership
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives for your assigned energy market
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to help close deals and transition customers

Requirements

  • Based in the United States (role expectation) and authorized to work from your home location; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires
  • College degree required
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience within an inside sales organization
  • Aptitude for sales with the courage to prospect and hit targets
  • Top-notch verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to explain technical information to varied audiences
  • Time management, prioritization, and ability to self-motivate
  • Experience with tools like PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Google Suite
  • Interest or experience with energy markets and a passion for clean energy and sustainability
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback and work collaboratively with teammates

Benefits

  • $55,000 base salary with $94,000 OTE in Year One
  • Eligible for additional monthly bonuses, equity, and uncapped commissions
