Description

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for commercial and enterprise sales roles from kick-off through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with Sales Directors, the VP of Sales, Partnerships, and People leadership to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified commercial talent through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies tailored to the energy industry, especially for candidates with DER, demand response, and clean energy backgrounds.
  • Advise hiring managers on compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, and hiring timelines as a subject matter expert on the commercial talent market.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records in the ATS and provide regular pipeline reporting to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives that position Voltus as a destination for top commercial talent.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a meaningful focus on GTM hiring.
  • Experience recruiting within the energy industry is strongly preferred.
  • Background in distributed energy resources (DERs), demand response, or clean energy technology is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior sales leaders and hiring managers.
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of building pipelines for hard-to-fill, niche commercial roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Experience with Lever or a comparable applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
  • No visa sponsorship or transfers are provided for new hires.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $95,000–$110,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience.
  • 10–15% annual bonus.
