Description

  • Build and improve tools that support participation in NYISO’s Wholesale Capacity Market.
  • Manage participation in the NYISO Wholesale Capacity market through the Special Case Resources (SCR) program and the Distributed Energy Resource Participation Model (DER PM).
  • Translate program rules into clear instructions for account managers and customers, and into technical requirements for product development.
  • Develop analytical tools that support operational workflows and customer-facing needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to improve portfolio margin and performance.
  • Standardize workflows, establish best practices, and help create scalable operating processes.
  • Reduce manual effort and improve tooling to support program growth and execution.
  • Contribute new ideas to help Voltus deliver better energy outcomes and more customer revenue.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of work experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.
  • Programming experience in Python and SQL.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel.
  • Interest in the energy and/or climate space.
  • Experience in the demand-side energy industry preferred, but not required.
  • Must be authorized to work from home in the US or Canada; visa sponsorship and transfers are not provided for new hires.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000-$95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • 10-15% bonus paid semi-annually.
