Description

  • Dedicate 10–12 hours weekly with flexible scheduling and participate in two 30-minute weekly check-ins about the project.
  • Produce and manage 10–15 posts per account weekly for 2+ accounts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Source, identify, and clip relevant video content from news outlets, cultural events, and social platforms for vertical/video-first posts.
  • Craft platform-optimized captions and post copy that authentically represent each account’s distinct voice.
  • Leverage the company content database (stories, videos, photos, CapCut templates, trending sounds) to assemble and publish content.
  • Monitor emerging platform trends and algorithm updates to continuously refine content approach.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics and audience engagement patterns to inform content decisions.
  • Collaborate with fellow Social Media Managers and Content leadership on cross-platform initiatives and strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Experience as a Social Media Manager with deep platform knowledge and strong trend awareness.
  • Ability to rapidly produce compelling vertical/video-first content in a fast-paced environment on topics such as news, finance, and culture.
  • Comfortable creating platform-optimized captions and tailoring voice per account.
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and Facebook content formats and best practices.
  • Ability to source and edit clips from external video sources and use CapCut templates and trending sounds.
  • Available to commit 10–12 hours per week and attend two 30-minute weekly check-ins.
  • Willingness to track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy.
