Description

  • Lead full-cycle event host talent casting and recruiting, including sourcing, auditioning, and selecting talent for live, in-person, and virtual experiences.
  • Build and manage structured talent pipelines by role, skillset, geography, and specialty to maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain an organized talent database and conduct ongoing outreach, networking, and referral engagement to build long-term relationships with prospective hosts.
  • Monitor pipeline health, track hiring metrics, generate reports, and recommend improvements to reduce time-to-fill and improve talent quality.
  • Design and manage selection processes to evaluate candidates for stage presence, communication skills, and audience engagement.
  • Maintain and develop training materials and programs for hosts, including onboarding guidance on event expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Review host performance after events and provide feedback to ensure successful event delivery and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional people initiatives such as onboarding and documentation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align hiring and host support processes.
  • Support culture-building initiatives and help ensure new hires have a strong onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in talent casting and full-cycle recruiting.
  • A network of talent that could be a fit to host events.
  • Understanding of event production rundowns.
  • Experience with group facilitation, moderating, and managing group dynamics.
  • High energy, a positive attitude, and strong people skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems quickly.
  • Comfort with virtual platforms such as Zoom, Webex, and MS Teams.
  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, priorities, and dependencies across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Commitment to inclusion and diversity in sourcing and attracting talent.
  • Experience with recruiting and HR systems such as ATS and HRIS, with a data-driven approach to streamlining operations.
  • Ability to step in as a host if backup is needed in an unexpected situation.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a computer with a webcam.
  • Mastery of the English language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible availability for interviews across time zones when needed.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Passion for Visit.org’s mission and interest in using technology to make an impact.
  • Remote contract role based in the Philippines, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, invoiced monthly, with a 9 am to 6 pm EST schedule.
