Description

  • Generate daily leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn InMail, referrals, social outreach, and government prospecting tools such as SAM.gov and GovWin.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to plan and execute sales outreach strategies.
  • Research accounts and identify potential contacts for prospecting.
  • Qualify leads and schedule calls with prospective clients.
  • Communicate product value propositions and respond to objections and competitive questions.
  • Document customer information and sales conversations in Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed weekly activity metrics and quarterly KPIs.
  • Attend and lead industry events for prospecting and market research.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an inside sales role with daily prospecting, cold calling, emailing, referrals, and related lead generation activities.
  • Experience selling into the Federal government.
  • Bachelor's degree from a competitive university or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
  • Solid understanding of government operations, including procurement policies and procedures, and experience working with federal agencies and contractors.
  • Comfort engaging with senior executive stakeholders and advisory board members regularly.
  • Experience in AI, data analytics, or defense technology sales, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or enterprise software is a major bonus.
