Description

  • Own revenue growth for Ververica's stream processing platform across the UK and Middle East.
  • Build the market from zero by identifying target accounts and developing pipeline from scratch.
  • Create a repeatable outbound sales motion that can scale in the region.
  • Run full-cycle enterprise sales from first conversation through signed contract.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles and high contract values.
  • Map buying committees, build champions, and navigate procurement processes.
  • Use events, partnerships, and community presence to accelerate market development.
  • Feed market intelligence back to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Influence regional positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Strong preference for experience in open source, data infrastructure, or analytics.
  • Proven experience building a market or business from zero to one.
  • Ability to sell on value rather than features.
  • Experience selling to technical buyers such as CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Data Architects.
  • Working knowledge of Financial Services or Manufacturing markets.
  • Relentless outbound sales approach with the ability to drive demand without inbound support.
  • Comfort working in an environment where the playbook is still being written.
