Description

Define the product vision and long-term strategic direction in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
Lead strategic planning by identifying investment areas, building business cases, and securing internal approvals.
Own product P&L and use financial insights to guide roadmap prioritization.
Translate product strategy into actionable plans for what to build and when to release it.
Build and maintain detailed and executive-level roadmaps for internal teams, leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
Gather input from customers, internal stakeholders, market research, and industry insights to inform product decisions.
Prioritize features by balancing user value, development effort, time to market, and competitive differentiation.
Track and evaluate product performance, including sales, renewals, win/loss data, feature adoption, usability, user satisfaction, revenue, and operational costs.
Partner with engineering, design, sales, marketing, support, implementation, finance, legal, and leadership to deliver and launch products.
Promote the product through demos, training, sales enablement, webinars, newsletters, and direct customer engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications such as Pragmatic Marketing or CSPO are a plus.
7+ years of product management experience within a software organization.
Experience with pricing strategies, business cases, and P&Ls.
Experience developing and executing modernization strategies, including migration from legacy solutions to cloud-based architectures.
Experience establishing value propositions, product messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and AI-centric development with Claude Code.
Highly effective cross-functional team leadership and the ability to influence up, down, and across the organization.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Aha! Product Management software is preferred.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and mobile apps is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to improve product capabilities or operational efficiency is preferred.
Experience with public safety professional standards, wellness, or Case Management Systems (CMS) is preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability security clearance.
